The Literary club is a forum where highly talented and creative minds get a chance to let their voices flow, express their thoughts and share something exciting. It offers a competing platform for the knowledge-hungry students. It promises to cultivate a passion for quizzing, debating, creative writing, literature, elocution, etc. among the students. The founding of literary club produced a platform conducive for nurturing such talents in today’s students of technology. For all those who know that the “pen is mightier than the sword”, this is very well their arena. Talents are to be shown, not to be hidden.

The club helps students in developing solid thinking skills, examine why they believe what they believe, and learn to locate the values, worldview & assumptions behind positions expressed by others. The club is supposed to work throughout the year to benefit students in the realms of writing and speaking by conducting events that are both instructional and enjoyable.

Objectives :
To develop self-efficacy and confidence among its members;
To develop writing and speaking and speaking proficiency among the learners;
To develop creative and critical thinking;
To develop among its members art of composition;
To develop the aesthetic sense among the learners;
To enable the members to appreciate literary writings;
To develop among its members the habit of reading for pleasure;

To orient the members to learn through interaction with peers;
To develop the habit to share the fresh readings with others.
